Reflection
Here I'll like to take a moment to reflect the recent and current productions working with local companies.

Social media
Working with Granby Street Glow and Juice Bar was a enlightening experience as I've never done commercials. I found my clients to be genuine and kind people which made working with them a joy. We sat down and discussed what their goals were, platforms for the ad and their motivations. They made it clear they were pushing their daytime healthier vegan choices like Acai bowls and smoothies. That said, they also wished to showcase their night life portion, so we ended up shooting both sides and were able to create multiple ads from the footage. Working with them made branching out into a new field of filmmaking enjoyable, and I look forward to working with them in the future.
Commercial Pre-Production
During the pre-production process for the second commercial, broadcast, my team met to discuss the best schedule that would be most efficient. As the connection to the company and Director of the project, I acted as a bridge. Next we presented our intentions to the company, Town Center Cold Pressed. It certainly helped that they were so open-minded and already had the framework for what they were looking for. This wouldn't be just an ad to showcase a product, but a narrative piece.
After a meeting with the head of sales and discussing their goals, approaches and style, I wrote up a script for the 30-45 second ad that would also introduce their newest location in the Webb Center. My team scouted the location, shots were played out, and a mood board/rough shotlist was drawn up. Discussions of how to work most efficiently were vital as we had to work around a working cafe. TCCP was very supportive during this process, and they gave us dates and time-ranges that would work best.
Next was casting. Kayla and I were quick to find canidates, but it was hard to choose who would be the leads as there was so many great actors.
Overall, due to my team working together and the client being so supportive, pre-production was able to move smoothly for the most part and we are thst much closer to bringing this narrative piece to life.
